How I Use It
I use it for daily math review, for which I put in cumulative review questions and students answer them at the beginning of class. The students can see if their answers are right (there is an option where they can't), and I get a spreadsheet that tells me which student needs review on which topic without using a ton of paper. The kids love it because it's technology and quick, I love it for organization (also great for conference notes later). I also use it for check-ins about learning, attitude, etc. I will likely use it later for quick quizzes, but I haven't used it for anything graded yet.
Although this isn't a self-contained learning app, it does allow teachers to check in quickly and easily with students. The teacher can create or download quizzes in a few different formats, and when students answer questions, the teacher is able to download a report or have it emailed. The results are presented in table form. The app is free, and can be used with a combination of laptops, iPads, or smartphones.
