How I Use It

I usually present Simple Wikipedia to all students and subtly encourage some students to use it as a starting point when they want to get general background knowledge on a topic. For most students, it's JUST a starting point, but for some students who are new to English or have particular difficulty with reading, I might (ONLY at certain points in the year) settle for the understanding they build from this site.

My Take

There is nothing amazing about Simple Wikipedia, but it does present. in accessible language. basic information on certain topics. With the footnotes, there is definitely opportunity to explore a topic further,.
