How I Use It
We used Scratch to allow students to turn a "Hero's Journey" story into a game. They spent two weeks creating their game which culminated in a game playing day in class. (10th Grade)
I loved this program. It allows students to visually see how a computer program is designed and is put together. They have a great deal of control over their output and learned so much about the power of logic.
