How I Use It
I use it in fourth and fifth grades to teach basic programming skills. It serves as a great introduction to programming and lets the kids know the kind of things they can do at our middle and high schools with more advanced programming. My 4th grade students learn how to do simple activities with their sprites. In 5th grade we work in groups to create a game that others can play!
My Take
My kids get so excited to use Scratch in Technology class. The drag and drop features make it easy for even the lower achieving kids to do well through trial and error.
