How I Use It
Go to Remind101 and make an account. Print out login information and have parents and students sign up by posting the login instructions on your website, have out at parent teacher conferences, and/or at your Back to School night. You need to push sign up and explain it to parents. Compose short text reminders and set a time for them to send out to parents and students who have signed up. Great for field trips and event reminders!
Remind 101 is less a learning tool and more a tool for increasing communication. You can send short text reminders for anything! One of my favorite features is the ability to schedule texts to send at a later time. That way you can have reminders about homework, field trips, or events go home in the evening or early in the morning, even when you may not be at your computer. Quick and easy for families and kiddos to sign up and doesn't give out your personal number.
