How I Use It
This site is a fantastic resource for teachers. There is so much here... lesson plans, activities, professional development resources, etc. There is so much to sift through, I confess I have not gotten through it all yet. However, I have discovered a few useful tools. I love the "Chatting About Books" podcast, which is full of book ideas and ways to use these books in your classroom. Another fantastic tool is the student interactive section. There are activities for preK-12th graders, such as letter sound matching, compare/contrasts charts, etc.
My Take
Fantastic website for teachers. Dig through this over the summer and commit to using a few new activities/ tools during the first few weeks of school.
