How I Use It
Since I work with preservice teachers, I use the site as a model for how to write lesson plans. We look at the objectives and how they are tied to the assessments. We look at the thorough instructional plans and the steps listed. We also look at the extensions and see how we could further the learning.
My Take
ReadWriteThink is a great resource for teachers, offering lesson plans and strategy guides. There are also ready-to-use printouts that can be shared with students. There are also things for students, like the Student Interactives and the Mobile Apps. There is also an out-of-school area with activities for children and their caregivers.
