How I Use It
I use this lesson to build literacy skills in my classroom. Each lesson is based on a letter, word family, or sight word. They also have a printable emergent reader. You can also pull the book up and do it on the screen as a whole group. The books are used throughout the lesson. They also have printable worksheets you can use for independent practice. After doing the lesson whole group, I would have the students work independently. I would pull the same book we read whole group into small groups and allow students to have further practice.
My Take
I think this website is a great tool for learners. You can use it with a variety of lessons and activities. I also really like that there is a variety of ways to use the resources. I love doing the book whole group and then incorporating it into my small groups. There are so many ways you can teach using this site.
