How I Use It

I use this product in my teaching with small group, individual group , data, collection, and running records Input. This app works great as it highly interactive and keeps student engaged with incentives at the end. This app works great in small group and student independent work. This is not a great app to use as whole group as this program is leveled by students individual running record scores.

My Take

I really enjoy incorporating this teaching tool into my classroom. I like that it allows students to record their record their readings for me to assess at a later time and for students to hear their own Voice while reading.I also like the quizzes at the end of each text and the report that it generates for teacher data. The SAMR level for this application would fall within the augmentation as it allows students to interact with the text with recordings and visuals along with activities and quizzes at the end of each reading. This app could be pushed up the SAMR level by enabling a feature that allows students to write , highlight, underline, etc with the text and to also pose a discussion in which classmates old answer or comment on different levels books students have read.
