How I Use It

This is a resource that I always have posted on my webpage for students to access (high school and college composition). It is impossible for students to memorize how to cite sources and create a works cited in any format (APA, MLA, etc.) I can count on the Purdue OWL to always have up-to-date information in order to be a great resource for citation work. It is important to use the site with them and show them what is available rather than just saying it is there.

My Take

Students are not motivated to look at it all the time, but they know they have to when it comes time to having to list and cite their research. Students across high school and college continue to need this assistance and typing into something like EasyBib is not enough for them to get a works cited and citations 100% correct. Combined with this resource, students will do well; however, they have to be willing to click through and read to find the info. they need.
