How I Use It
I use this in my teaching as a resource to reinforce the concept through practice. I align the questions it asks the students with the lesson taught that day using the assignments tool in the Planner tab. I also use it as test prep for students to practice answering questions they could encounter on the state test using the Planner tool. My students' math skills have improved because they're practicing more. It has made math fun for them by incorporating personalized gaming with math questions. The students who play it the most have improved the most because of their exposure to the content and practice.
I love Prodigy and using it in my classroom, especially because of how engaging it is. It helps make practicing math even more fun and allows to you differentiate by assigning different students questions on a concept at different levels. They have useful reports but could kick it up a notch by making them available to be exported as excel spreadsheets.
