How I Use It

Some of my students chose to use Prezi to present the findings of their ancestry research project. The ability to upload photos and original documents to their presentations was important. In turn, this allowed them to use the SmartBoard to show classmates family pictures and artifacts vital to their project. The only catch for this particular project is some students had trouble creating or showing their works cited document.

My Take

This is a great digital tool that can be used in any subject. Students who use this generally stay engaged throughout the entire time. A few students found it difficult to use Prezi; the more abstract method of creating the presentation proved too complex for them. This is probably an issue that could be resolved with more experience and pairing with another student who is already adept at using Prezi. Overall, I think it is a valuable digital tool for students and teachers to make use of in the classroom.
