How I Use It
I use Prezi primarily with my final Spanish IV project. The project itself is a timeline of high school in which students talk about what they did in HS (using past tense in Spanish), what they recommend for incoming Freshmen (using subjunctive) and what they will do in the future (using future tense). It's great they are able to actually display a timeline and it keeps students engaged as they progress through their Prezi presentation. It is also great practice for them before they go on to college, since many professors are utilizing this in their classrooms as well. Sometimes students were a bit frustrated because they couldn't get the program to do exactly what they wanted it to, but as we used it more, we became more acquainted with all it has to offer.
I think the Prezi format is a great way to introduce new information to students, but in particular, for students to demonstrate their learning in an interesting, organized fashion.
