Engaging Way to Hook students into instruction

My Take

I utilized Prezi to make my Parts of Speech lessons more interactive and interesting. I was able to link several short videos (SchoolHouse Rocks and music created by teachers) to help students remember and recall information about the various P.O.S. They loved the lesson and the songs requesting they be played multiple times so they could sing along. On the prep side, it took a while to create the lesson (longer than the lesson itself lasted!) but now that it is created, I can use it again and again.
