How I Use It
I use this product to increase the parent participation when it comes to homework. During the weeks we were reviewing and teaching about Community Helpers I use this website to poll the students and parents on the different things we taught. It was great because the parents even answered the questions themselves and were actively engaged in the polling. I liked it because it was an interactive lesson and offered a new approach on the homework. The one thing I do not like is that I can not keep track of who answered and who did not. I found that this site was very appealing to me because I can in turn create a poll for a training that I might do at a conference or workshop. This website can be used for a variety of things and can offer an interactive lesson and provides an opportunity for the students to voice their opinions.
My Take
My overall opinion about this teaching tool is that it is a great addition to any STEAM school and can be sure with preschoolers in which is the age group I work with. I like that it is an interactive tool that can get even the parents involved actively participating int he lessons. It is a fun way to get the parents opinion and allows the students to convey their opinion or thoughts about a topic. I like that I am able to change the way people response for exam ole i can do a multiple choice poll or a word response poll. Either way it is a change from my ordinary and boring way of taking a poll and it is a great addition to our program. I wish that I was able to monitor the responses to confirm that every student did make a response.
