Amazing way to check understanding in the classroom

How I Use It

I use it as an assessment at the end of class, usually. I sometimes use it throughout as an assessment. I'll have students rate how we'll they are understanding something or I'll have students answer a question with answers and see how the class is doing as a whole. It allows me to change instruction as needed. It doesn't work for short answer-type polls, only multiple choice. This is fine, though, because that's really what I need. Students get really excited to use their phones in class,too, for an academic purpose. This is a perfect mid-way check or closer to assess understanding, especially when kids are shy.
