How I Use It
This site offers 180 poems you can utilize in the classroom. This site would be helpful if you were working on a poetry unit and looking for a variety of poems. It offers a number of poems varying in length and topic. You could also use it if you were working with older students and looking to them to analyze a poem, present it or read it out loud in class.
My Take
While this site offers a large variety of poems and it is very easy to navigate through it offers very little besides that. It doesn't offer any extensions or lessons to help support the poems. It is straight forward and just poems. In addition it would be difficult to assign students work on this site if they are ELL, Low Literacy or struggle in reading fluency and comprehension. It would be better if they offered audio for the poems.
