How I Use It
I use Common Sense Media lesson's to teach Digital Literacy and Citizenship. At the end of a unit this is a fun and engaging way for students to show their learning. Students create stories about cyberbullying, scams and schemes etc.
I like that it is a well developed program with the ability to create assignments, provide rubrics and project parameters right in the program. Students have a lot of control over the creation of their characters. They can pose and design each one individually.
It is a great tool that allows students to show their learning in a creative way. I like all the teacher tools built in. I like that students can customize their characters. It is quite a robust program, so it does take time to learn all that it offers.
