How I Use It
1 Minute Movies; students explain a concept in a minute, Red Carpet Book Talks (students dress up for he red carpet, present a 1 min book trailer and are questioned by paparazzi) and character studies (Social Studies, Science, Lit). It has a "Krowd" feature that allows private sharing which I really like. Downside, you can't add your own music unless you buy a Pro account. Teachers get Pro for free, free student accounts would have to use their generic tracks.
My Take
I found it easier than Windows Movie Maker, but much less sophisticated than iMovie. There's a short learning curve, so students were making projects for other classes very quickly.
