How I Use It
I would use this because although it is on a computer, it could be hands on because you are exploring and playing with different shapes. The technology helps moves it around and can tell t[you the numbers. It would be very useful for a math lesson.
I like this app. This is a great hands on tool that could get students figuring out, and get their brains thinking. it uses the SAMR Framework because it is technology based and it is a modification of the lesson. It shows exactly what students need to do. For example, one lesson you can do one there is finding the area and creating different shapes. I think it gets students critically thinking and visualizing how it would work. It represents redefinition because it can make a student critically think and visualizing shapes. This can get students better with their math skills of area and perimeter.
