How I Use It
My students used this website to explore characters from popular books and TV. We complete character studies and form our own characters through looking at well known characters like Arthur. This website has a plethora of materials, videos, interactive characters, and printables. I have let them explore on their own and they seem to be able to navigate the site with ease. I have nothing bad to say about how awesome this PBS site is.
My Take
I love this as a teaching tool. The students are familiar with the shows and their interest is peaked. The site is well laid out, easy to navigate, and offers enough that students are not easily bored. It promotes learning and reading through the majority of the activities. It even has a parent partner website that has more tools for parents and teachers to use.
