How I Use It
I used this product in my classroom as a platform to share information with the entire class. Students are often to told to look for an example of something in a several page span in the literature we are reading. When I want students to share this example with the class using a quotation, should can access the link and provide their example through their own electronic device. If the link is open on my computer I can then project their responses on the front board. We use this a a way to share examples that can then be copied down, and to incite discussion. I sometimes create graphic organizers apply them as the background to better organize information. If student-provided information is incorrect or misplaced, the instructor has the ability to move it, delete it, or edit it.
This product is a good tool to use as an in-class discussion board. Students can access the link from an electronic device at their seats and share information with the entire class that is visible for all students in the class to copy down. One problem with the app is that it is not completely compatible to mobile devices. Students can use their mobile device but they do not have all the capabilities to navigate the board as one would on a desktop.
