How I Use It
I would use this product as a student developed wall for an anticipatory set before delving into lesson content. I could pose a question to gather prior knowledge for any academic content, and my students could add a photo, a link or a comment. Students would be engaged to participate seeing our wall develop, and they will connect their learning by seeing what others in the class have added to the board. I could also use this product as a teacher created wall to give my students access to any content whether it be links to websites, pictures, files or text content.
My Take
I believe this an "easy to use teaching tool that can have a big impact on student engagement. When students walk in the door, they can have a padlet ready and waiting for them. They can either add their own content, or view content from a teacher or other students. It is easy to set up and use. It can be shared with an easy to access link.
