How I Use It
I use padlet to present Common Core resources to my colleagues. I was selected as a Common Core expert in my field (English) in my department by administration and I found padlet an easy way to organize my resources so that my colleagues could locate websites quickly. It sped up the amount of time I had to deliver the content instead of sending individual messages to each person. Normally people use this with their students, but I set it up for my colleagues to access resources for their own classrooms.
As a teaching tool, I would highly recommend it. I can also see this easily working with my students -especially if it is accessed for a unit before or after a unit has initiated. For example, if we wanted students to view videos or access websites for information - they could just access this in order to get organized quickly. Many of my students either type very slowly or do not proofread their typing when they are typing in a website. With padlet, they are able to access one site, and then click on something that would take them to a resource necessary for their learning.
