How I Use It
I have had students create Museum Boxes on a topic were are studying and then present them to the class. I used it in small groups. The students were able to create products that explained the topic they were presenting. Their presentations were multimedia which was impressive. Some of my students had difficulty in learning how to add and save their products. I teach history with sixth graders and they (with a little difficulty) were able to create presentations on a specific topic we were studying. The students enjoyed using the website.
Museum Box is good because students have control over what they want to create. They can use images, videos, or sound and add that to their box they are creating. I like to use tools that allow students to create a product and Museum Box does that. The negative is that it can be difficult to learn to create a box and operate it.
