How I Use It
I would use Literably as an extra opportunity for struggling readers to practice their fluency. I would not use it with an entire class though. I would share and save each recording in a digital portfolio so that the students/ parents could hear growth and improvement over time.
My Take
For students that need a little extra practice in reading fluency, this is a simple, easy to use product. Overall, this product is limited in what it offers. I like that students record themselves reading and can listen to that recording. A link is provided for each student's reading that can be shared with parents, admin, etc... I also like that the instructor can choose to include comprehension questions or not. The free version is limited to 15 recordings a month. Although each story is leveled appropriately, there are only a few options which are not as engaging as they could be.
