How I Use It
Our school uses Lexia as an RTI program. It is also maditory for our newcomers and our ELL students. This is a great program with very engaging lessons. It is easy to omit the printed Lexia strategies and Lexia homework. It is vitally important that you assign these other resources for students to benefit from. What is somewhat difficult is that computers have to be registered via teachers email which can be challenging for younger students.
My Take
This should be in use at schools with struggling readers and a high population of English Language Learners. This program is expensive, however, I have personally seen major growth from students who have used the platform. If you can teach your students how to type your email address it will be a major help for you. Try it and see for yourself!
