How I Use It
I use legends of learning as a resource to supplement student learning. My students LOVE using it and I can build in questions from what we are learning in a fun game.
I do have to view the games before hand because there are some games that are TOO high level for 6th grade science- even harder for those that are special needs or low. I sometimes have to preface to students that some of the things they are learning in the game are not relevant to what we are learning but that its "cool to know about"
I love that students WANT to play legends of learning- they look forward to me sending out a new playlist. This makes it easy to give kids the reinforcement they need for the material we are learning.
I think have the option to pick a level (a level for special learners that reinforces or teaches the basics, a level that meets expectation for what your average students learns and then a level for your advanced learners. (I know that a lot to ask for but our classes are usually not a one size fits all and I want all my students to not only have fun playing the games but also get something out of it)
