How I Use It
Students are required to complete a playlist for different reasons. Normally, I use it as a practice or review of previously taught material. However, I also like to do it before a content as a preview. This is very helpful in science to develop some understanding before we take it further in class. This year it has been awesome as a review of previously 'taught' materials. Science is often forgotten in our lower grades but Legends gave me a great way to get them caught up with the basic in a fun and easy way.
I love it. It merges all my favorite things in a way that is highly engaging and supportive. The new games continue to get better and more interactive. The only problem we have is load time/bandwidth requirements. This was difficult this year with students being at home. It would also be nice if students could someone continue where they left off if they have to refresh their game because loading is slow/not happening. I know that is trickier. I have a few students that don't love to figure things out (which is why I love your program) but at some point they just become more frustrated then anything and may quit a playlist because of one game. I would like an optional time limit for each game. Each game as an estimated time limit (example 10 mins), could that be turned into an option for teacher to click "At 15 min. allow students to skip to next game" and then the students would get a pop up at 15 min. to either stick with it or continue on playlist.
