How I Use It
I used it as a flipped- classroom model. They watched the video and completed a notes outline. The class then came together to complete the Khan practices and extended practices in groups and individually.
This is a wonderful teaching tool that allows for the redesign of delivery to my classroom. Within the SAMR model this qualifies as a modification. It is a free resource. If used individually, students could start at a lower-level lesson and build to the lesson standard. While I have only used it for the instructional videos, it does have questions to practice. If you get the first one right, the student gets to move on as passing, if they miss it, they must complete 5 questions. I would like to find a more extensive practice.
