How I Use It
I am a Library Media Specialist and have used Kahoot before when teaching a technology class about Fake News. It was extremely fun for the class. Students love that it is a game and that they can work individually (unlike Quizlet live - another great tool for education). Also, if posted to their Google Classroom then the Kahoot can actually we used a a study tool and as a way for students to learn and practice at work. In addition, I have attended many post graduate class on education and teachers of all levels have repeatedly discussed using Kahoot and how much they love it and how much is it effective in the classroom. Bottom line is that students love games and this game really gets the students excited about learning.
The only constructive critique of app is that the color of the answer to the each question can be memorized ... even if the questions are in different order. The students could just rote memorize the color to the answer. One student suggestion was for maybe the color of the answer be changed each game or every now and then to keep it fresh and so student would not be able to just rote memorize but to truly understand the subject.
