How I Use It
I generally use this as a whole class activity to review concepts we have already learned or to give the students a preview of things to come. I turn it into a competition and kids love to see the scores at the end of each question to see who is in top five.
The kids really enjoy playing the game because it gives them almost instant feedback and they like being able to see who is in the "Top FIve" while they play the game. The quizzes are very easy to create and you could literally take any multiple choice assessment and turn it into a Kahoot. You can download the results of the game later and check to see which students understood the concepts. All kids are able to participate because the choices are represented by shapes and colors that correlate with what they see on their iPads. The only problem I have encountered is when kids get kicked out of the game and have to join again. Otherwise, it is a lot of fun for me and the kids.
