IXL Math is an excellent online resource that allows students to practice targeted skills in a well-organized and easy to access platform. Sites now needs to work on expanding students higher level thinking skills.

How I Use It

I have used this site to reinforce math skills reviewed during whole-class, small group, or individual instruction. Many would classify this site as "drill and kill"; however, the site provides a well-organized and easy to access platform for students to practice targeted math skills. In addition, the site provides immediate feedback to students and incentives for students working through curriculum.
