How I Use It
I use IXL in a variety of ways. For homework, students are expected to spend 15 minutes on IXL 3-5 times a week. In class, I use IXL as a mathstation to support what we are studying. I assign specific skills that match what unit we are working on. Students rotate through the computer pod as one of their stations. .
My Take
I think IXL is a great tool that can be an asset to students of all levels. It adjusts to their level and the students find it motivating. Even in short periods,learning can occur. The reports that teachers can create provide useful information.
