These worksheets build on skills covered in the Algebra 1 module, with some overlap of less challenging content. For example, both Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 include skills related to polynomial vocabulary and basic operations with polynomials. However, the Algebra II module covers more complex polynomial concepts, including conjugate theorems and Descartes' Rule of Signs.
For older students, these drill-style worksheets often work well as pre-assessments, especially since there's detailed feedback for incorrect answers. Try using these worksheets as a way to assess students' prior knowledge before starting a unit. Students should work independently to complete the worksheets, and then come together as a class to discuss their results. Reinforce the content by assigning the same worksheets as follow-up after more formal classroom instruction.
