How I Use It
You can zoom in and see your school, your neighborhood, and your house. Great for teaching all the basics of maps and cartography, and you can also use it for discussions on population density, urban planning, and basically any geographical entity.
My Take
While at first glance Google Earth can be overwhelming, take the time to figure out how to use this interactive map. I used Google Earth with sixth graders, and my husband (who teaches geography) uses it with college students.
