How I Use It
I use this in my class to share materials with students and collect work from them. It took a while to set up and I am still working out some kinks but it has been helpful so far. I set it up by first creating a classroom folder that I shared with all of my students in that class. For ease, I only created folders for each type of class I have and then shared it with all students in that class (1 folder for freshman English, 1 folder for sophomore English).
Then I had students create individual folders that they shared with me. I moved these into folders for each class period. Now, anytime they submit work to that folder, I can see it and add or make corrections.
I really enjoy using this product for sharing materials with my classes and seeing their submitted work. As an English teacher they do a lot of writing and this is one of the best ways for them to work on it. I can see their progress and make comments as necessary. It is helpful for my teaching because it allows me to individualize my attention much more and prevents errors that can happen due to saving or freezing computers.
