How I Use It
I use it daily for paper construction and for creation of presentations. Kids work together on projects from their own 1:1 device, adding comments and inserting ideas. I've also used it when teaming up with a class of students at an alternative school in Nova Scotia. Students were matched and created poems, presentations and papers reflecting their cultures and beliefs and then analyzing a piece of literature. This was very successful and allowed my students to get a glimpse of another country/culture without leaving the classroom.
Google Drive is used daily in my classroom. It's a collaborative tool in which students can work individually or in groups and not even be in the same classroom.I've used it to work with kids in other schools in other states/countries. I also have students use it for composing their papers. It's easy for me to leave comments and for them to ask questions if needed.
