How I Use It

I have used it in conjunction with our EXCEL program. The EXCEL teacher and I have researched the books for her advanced students that are not readily available at our K-5 level due to funding or the higher grade level schools using them. The students with the higher reading levels have loved the unique way to learn and read something differently. Lower reading ability students did struggle. Overall we had a great experience with a small group!

My Take

Google Books can be a great resource when looking for free books under free domain. But any other books that are wanted can only be read as an excerpt then purchased through the google play store. This is a great resource for advanced learners who need a challenge and want to boraden the start of research skills or read books in a different way then the paper version. If the teacher spends the time to research books for a lower ability use it would engage the lower readers in a classroom.
