How I Use It

I teach various art forms in my classroom....anywhere from dance to basic art. This site is a great way to introduce the students to various types of art and expose the students to online galleries. I can see myself using this site to help encourage the students to explore a certain artist or medium we are currently working on. I would definitely have to use it first and set-up the students showing them how to use it and navigate around the site. It can be confusing but I think my older students will catch on easily.

My Take

Overall I like this site. It can be difficult to navigate so it isn't intended for younger students to use on their own however with proper instruction older students can easily navigate through the site. I like how it showcases various museums, artists and mediums. I feel that if you are focusing on a specific topic you can use this site to expose the students to the art and help them to better understand where you are coming from.
