How I Use It

I gave my students the option of using GoAnimate! for their book reports on men or women of history. A few of them took up my offer and made fabulous, fun videos that demonstrated their understanding of a scene or scenes in the book. Then we showed the whole class their videos, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed watching.

My Take

My students LOVED making their own talking cartoons! And as a teacher, I loved to hear how they were spending hours on it for a school presentation project at home because they wanted to, not because they had to. It does take a bit of time to learn how to use the online software, and isn't completely intuitive, but provides enough for teachers and students alike to create impressive animations for free!
