How I Use It
I have used this with my High Ability students at the end of the year. We watch the setup video and then I allow students to choose their desired occupation. They must then accept the challenge that relates to their chosen occupation (fashion, music restaurant, video game, basketball, special effects). I think students quickly realize that math is everywhere! Literally! Hearing this from people in the field that they love makes all the difference in the world. Again! Relevancy! It is the key to hooking those at risk students.
So often we try to teach students concepts but we fail to give them a reason to learn it. This website offers the "why" in addition to our "how." Good quality videos. Unfortunately there is no download feature but you can create links to these videos on websites and in My Big Campus bundles.
