How I Use It

I use Flocabulary to introduce a lesson and get kids interested in the content because each video is written to incorporate realistic uses which we love. I will say that the videos can be difficult for ELL kids especially ones that are brand new to the language but the visuals behind the videos are certainly helpful for those learners.

My Take

I was a little bit skeptical of flocabulary until my teenage son came home blasting a video that the found on youtube on his phone. He loved it and often listened to various topics depending on what he was studying at the time. The beats and lyrics help make each song catchy for kids and they really do develop a deeper understanding because when they hear something that they do not know, they "wonder" which leads to further research and questions.

I haven't met a student yet who didn't love or benefit from Flocabulary.
