How I Use It
Flipgrid can be used to describe projects or personal understandings of information in greater depth. It's fantastic because some students prefer to talk about their ideas rather than write them down. By speaking aloud, you can better understand their thought process as well as their jumps between ideas and conclusions. It also helps kids to practice public speaking abilities in front of the camera, making it feel easier.
I like Flipgrid because I think it's an excellent way to mix up how you present material and concepts in the classroom. Students can record themselves giving a presentation, which other students can watch and critique on. It's a fantastic opportunity for students to share their work without having to spend several days in class going over everything.
