Teacher Review for Flipgrid

Students shouldn't be forced to make a video of them saying something.

My Take
This forces you to make a video where you say your answer which you could just write. Some teachers force kids to show there faces. The whole class can watch videos that are made. Most of the time this is used for at-home assignments and I don't want my house being seen by my whole class! My house is getting renovated. Also since kids can see each other's houses that's a big privacy concern since our houses show how much money our families have. I don't think a kid with low economic status would want all their peers seeing their living conditions, especially if most of the other kids come from families that are better off. Also since I refuse to make all but one of the videos I have to make for science I'm at an F. This is stupid. I've emailed my teacher about it and I think he'll probably say something like, "You have to do the work I assign, you can't get out of it." The assignments are about a movie that I'm pretty sure isn't meant to be educational. If it was a movie like "Schindler's List" or "Hidden Figures" where you actually learn something I might be more lenient, but I'd still not believe that a teacher should have us use Flipgrid. Just make a doc with the questions or something. I shouldn't have to panic over simple questions and have to take an anxiety pill just to complete one. ONE! Thanks, school... Thanks for reading
