How I Use It
For the science standards that were hard to develop hand on learning activities I turned to Gizmos. I would use the documents and lesson plans that came with the gizmo and I would use the students answers from the activity as a gage on what instruction was needed after the gizmo. I typically followed up a gizmo with a summative assessment (quiz).
My Take
I have extensively used this website for science content, but the math simulators (manipulative) are helpful too. Whats really nice about this website is that you can look for simulations by standard. This website will become more powerful as they increase the amount of offered simulations.
