How I Use It
I would use EDpuzzle to create custom videos that introduce/revisit/test subject matter in my English 10 class. In about 10 minutes, I was able to use EDpuzzle's search engine to find an engaging video that provided a summary overview for the novel Night by Elie Wiesel. I was able to make a custom video by trimming down the length to key points, and insert timed questions for students to think about and respond to that helps them (and me) check their understanding of the book.
This is a great teaching tool because it allows teachers to create customized videos for their classes without having to research countless youtube videos to find the one that is appropriate/timely/informative/engaging as is. EDpuzzle has a simple user interface that helps you easily organize your video library for future viewings.
This product would be even better if you could export videos from your EDpuzzle library to a teaching website (I have not figured out how to do this yet).
