My Take

Okay so my kids (students) were making their avatars for Edmodo and one of my students her name is Ana, raised her hand and asked why they didn't have her skin color. She is a beautiful dark skin girl and was very upset about it. I told her I don't know but I'll fix it. So Edmodo, please add more of a variety for your avatars. I had other students that came to me that you didn't have their hair style either and I know some people may believe that these avatars don't matter but if we as a country want to get past segregation and discrimination then we need to make sure that everyone is included. Even if it is just a little avatar off of Edmodo. Thank you for your time.
