How I Use It
More than anything, this resource is great for both teachers and students in terms of accountability. Students are provided with digital copies of their assignments, rubrics, presentations, etc., and they are asked to meed deadlines digitally. The days of students accusing teachers of losing their final submissions are over.
Sometimes students say they have problems attaching assignments, but that's really the only issue I've heard with the website.
If you're thinking about jumping into making your class digital, or you're just making baby steps into requiring a digital submission here or there, this website is outstanding. Partially, it's a type of social media for the classroom, but moreover, it's a database for student work and grades. It allows teachers to annotate students' work digitally and students can always go back and see those marks. For becoming better writers and creating a digital portfolio of student work, this website is great.
