How I Use It

I use it in lieu of our district's website to post homework and assignments. It's easy to attach files and if a student is absent, he or she can easily download and print any handouts that I gave in class. Additionally, I use it at the portal through which all other websites are linked. For example, today, I am out of the classroom and am giving the students a test on Google Forms. I have 3 different versions of the test written and linked to the specific test I wanted certain groups to take. All on Edmodo. Sometimes I will have the students read an article and then summarize it and submit in as an assignment on Edmodo. I don't need any paper and I can even grade it using my phone or tablet using the app. Overall I love it!

My Take

I've been using Edmodo for two years and couldn't be happier. Students, parents, and colleagues all love the fact that they can keep up with what work is being done in class.
